Review aggregator Metacritic has published lists of the best games of 2023 for PC and PlayStation. The rating included projects that received at least 7 reviews from professional critics, stopgame.ru reports. RPG Baldur's Gate III took first place on both lists with a rating of 96 points for PC and 93 points for PlayStation. Other leaders for PC include Street Fighter 6, Against the Storm, Resident Evil 4. On PlayStation, Tetris Effect: Connected, Marvel's Spider-Man 2, and Rogue Legacy 2 are highly rated. When compiling the rating for PlayStation, the highest score from the versions for PS4 and PS5 was taken into account. It is also noted that scores may change slightly over time as new reviews are published. Overall, 2023 turned out to be rich in successful releases for both PC and consoles. Genre diversity is represented by RPGs, action games, simulators and other popular genres.
